The Intentional Parent

“And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.”- Isaiah 54:13

If you desire rest as a parent, and peace for your children, then you will commit to teaching them the things and ways of God.
Parenting is not an act or responsibility to be taken lightly. It demands diligence, godliness, focus, consistency and deliberate acts or steps which when abided by, propels one to achieve raising successful children right from infancy into their adulthood.

It takes an intentional parent to fulfil this charge or mandate God has given us concerning the children He has blessed us with. It takes a parent who prioritizes the things that matter most to the rightful upbringing of his/her children and imbibe in them the good principle or important values that will help them to become what God has destined them to become.
What does it mean to be intentional then?
That is what this book seeks to address for us to be able to fulfil God’s command and receive our rewards as parents.
