DO THE ‘BELIEVING’ YOURSELF

There are times we feel that God is silent on our cases. At times we feel our fervent prayers are not being answered by Him and that our testimonies are long overdue. And other times, we probably think we are not praying enough.
But have you also paused to ask yourself if you truly believe and have faith in the prayers you say to God; or you lift up those prayers because they just have to be said. Or you only extend your belief to that of your spouse, parents or the prayer group you are part of.
The Bible says Abraham, the husband of Sara was a man of great faith but their prayer of having a child was still not manifesting, and until Sara herself believed in conceiving a child out of her prayers, they were still childless.
Hebrews 11:11 ‘Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child, when she was past age, because she adjudged Him faithful who had promised.’
Beloved, until you start believing personally, , those prayers may not find manifestation.
Peter was still walking on the sea until he shifted focus from his faith in Jesus to the waves of the sea and then he began to sink. Matthew 14:22-32
It is right about time to have faith and believe in your own prayers knowing that He is the ever faithful God, one who is not a respecter of persons and so does not consult your tribe, work experiences, wealth or educational background before lifting one from a dung hill to a place of princes. Has He not said it and will He not do it?
Do the believing yourself and you will soon testify of His goodness in your life in Jesus’s name, Amen.
