Have you ever felt that God sometimes does not answer prayer or better still, doesn\’t answer prayer on time and even when He does, it isn\’t up to your expectations?
The truth however is that, God is not obliged to answer all our prayer requests. I believe if God was going to go by our prayer requests, most of us wouldn\’t have ended up this glorious. Some of us would have been living in regrets now.
God indeed does answer prayer but according to His will and not ours. He is our creator and the All-knowing God, and so knows us better than we do. Even the very hairs on our heads, God knows the number. This shows how much of a concern we are to Him. (Luke 12:7)
Have you also thought about the other side of the coin? That, there are situations God did not show up in our prayers but He paved another way which resulted in much bigger testimony in our lives. God is not mean, He rather always wants the best for our lives. Just have confidence in him and patiently wait for His timing.
1John 5:14-15 says, \’And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his wiil, he heareth us:
And if we know that he hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him\’.
It also important to stay away from sin or live righteously to easily access His presence and attention.
Remember, the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. (1Peter 3:12)
May God help us all to regain this confidence and be assured that He will definitely answer our prayers when we ask according to His will in Jesus\’ name, Amen.
