When the love of God is spread abroad in your heart (Romans 5:5b – paraphrased), certainly envy, insecurity and hatefulness will disappear. When we are anxious for nothing, and allow our actions to align with God\’s instructions, we experience peace within and always develop a heart of gratitude towards God.
If we slip off from this path of peaceful state of mind and entangle ourselves with material things, that is when we start worrying about the unnecessary and fleeting things of this world. We begin to crave for a lot of material things which at the end of the day may result in our actions not pleasing God.
Phillipians 4:6-7 says that \”Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.\”
Dear friend, let everything be known unto God. One thing that is worth cherishing is when you are peacefully making it in life or fulfilling your purpose and still pleasing God in the process. Know that whatever that is done without the backing of God does not last.
1 Timothy 6:6 says \’But godliness with contentment is great gain.\’
Beloved, be content with whatever God has gifted you with, work hard and develop it, and He will add His blessings. For there\’s nothing more rewarding than manifesting your life\’s purpose here on earth and also making it to heaven.
May God give us grace in this regard, Amen.
