ADD TO PRAYER…

\”Then the servant took ten of his master\’s camels and departed, taking all sorts of choice gifts from his master; and he arose and went to Mesopotamia to the city of Nahor. And he made the camels kneel down outside the city by the well of water at the time of evening; the time when women go out to draw water. And he said, O Lord, God of my master Abraham, please grant me success today and show steadfast love to my master Abraham.\” – Genesis 24:10-12 (ESV)

So you have been praying to God to grant you success in your field of endeavour, in your assignment,  or to grant you speed in achieving your goals. Then, It is also  however highly important to add these to your prayers:- right preparations, avoiding stagnancy, strategic planning or timing and place just as demonstrated by the servant of Abraham in the above scripture.

The goal of this servant is to find a wife for his master\’s son: and so he prepares ahead of his journey. Upon his arrival in the city, he positions himself at the right place (by the well)and at the right time (evening) to meet the targeted people and includes prayer. He did not go and position himself probably by a football park or a gents\’ wear shop where all other things being equal, mostly men/boys will be patrolling; because his vision or aim is to find a wife not a husband. And so his journey was very successful even in an unknown city.

Are you only clinging to prayer without acting on what God is showing you? Are you refusing to take a step? Are you displaying your skill/talent before the wrong audience, not catching the strategic place/time to showcase them for you to see the success or impact you\’re yearning for?

Then it is about time to retreat and add to prayer the right preparations, strategic planning, locate the right place and time, and you will surely catch the attention of the right audience no matter how unpopular your products or services may sound or how unfamiliar your field may seem, you will certainly penetrate and joyfully achieve your aim for God to add the increase.
May God help us in this regard, Amen. 🙏
