John 2:1-11
When Jesus attended a wedding with his mother at Cana and the wine for serving ran out, and his mother informed him of the shortage of wine, the Bible says Jesus replied His mother… \”woman, what has this got to do with me? My hour has not yet come.\” vs. 4
Mary however ignored His answer and ordered the servants to do whatever Jesus tells them to do. Jesus upon hearing the instructions given by His mother, now decided to perform a miracle by turning water into wine which He was unwilling to do at that time.
If Mary had not remained focused on what she wanted or expected to achieve knowing Jesus is capable of doing, this first sign/miracle wouldn\’t have been recorded in the Bible.
Do not lose interest so soon, do not easily give up on that vision because of the first answer received/heard from someone. Keep pushing, keep aligning yourself towards the achievement of that goal and you will soon see results. What ordinarily, people would not commit to your progress or would not have done in your favour, thinking the time is not ripe yet to help, they will suddenly begin to do for you to embrace the much desired answers because of your persistence.
May we receive grace to remain focused towards the achievement of our goals in Jesus\’ name, Amen.
