John 17:9 (KJV) \” I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.\”

This scripture is quite interesting though emphatic. Jesus is communicating with His Father, God; and he is saying that He does not generally pray for everyone in this world but only for those who believe in Him, those who have accepted Him and are God\’s.
He guards only those who love God\’s Word and therefore have had the world hating them. He also only sanctifies those who have come to believe in Him through those He sent.
Beloved, this is the simplest truth; if you want to stay under the covering of God, just believe in Him, stay with His Word which will automatically make you hate the world or not conform to the things of this world.
John 17:14 (KJV) \” I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.\”
Dear one, just switch to believing in God and loving/living His Word and be assured of being safe/covered.
