Do you consider the consequences of your actions before embarking upon them? Or do you only concentrate on the fleeting advantages of your actions, not considering the far-reaching results? Do you pause to consider what would happen if acted differently? Do your actions or activities bring happiness only to yourself at the expense of the happiness of many others?
The Bible says in Proverbs 14: 12 that ‘’there is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death”.
Friend, be careful not to compromise on your Christian principles and values just to get some impermanent fame, reward or promotion.
After all is said and done, after all the accumulation of the material things, ask yourself, \”will it bring me eternal life? Will it accord me a good name that my generation can inherit or a legacy that many will benefit from to make my impact trans generational?\”
1 Corinthians 6:12 says “All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any”.
Yes, all things may be lawful to you, but must you bring your body under their subjection? No way! Do not let the temporal things in this world dictate to your body. Take control of your body, for it is the Lord’s. Do not join in what people call the ‘new normal’ when it is actually sin that has been negatively dignified.
Beloved, it is very necessary that we think about our actions before engaging in them. Probably the end thereof may land in destruction or death.
It is true though, that there is the place of repentance. And yes, our forgiving Heavenly Father will forgive you. But who knows, the scars from these actions may not be reversible.
May God help us always to be cautious about the end thereof and stay true to His word. Amen.
His indeed a faithful God
Faithful is our God
